I can't believe that Adrian has been a part of our family for four weeks today. It feels like I just had him and cannot believe we are almost into September. Today was a good day. Adrian is learning his Babywise schedule of Eat, Play, then Sleep (to those who do not know of this book-it is so helpful for getting your baby to sleep thru the night).
Yesterday, The Fabuluous Five had our first outing involving a car trip. We left at 9am to head to the mtns. Josie had the day off so we decided to take the kids to see some waterfalls. The day was not well planned and so 30 mins into the trip we realized we had left home without size 4 diapers= those needed for Madelyn, no pacy=Madelyn rarely leaves home without it when teething, and no teething medicine for Madelyn-she is cutting molars this week. We feel like we are more relaxed with our third child and things are a lot less planned but I guess that means sometimes forgetting things for the middle child....ooops. The dollar store in a redneck town carried all that was needed while Josie ran thru Subway drive thru for our picnic lunch.
The shorts hikes felt good with very nice weather for the mountains. The waterfalls were beautiful with the exception of a couple bathing naked in the water below the falls. Here are some pics from our trip and from the day before at the playground and then Jayden at his first Greenville Drive-Baseball game with Daddy and his friend Sammy.
Looking forward to Kristin and Bryce coming this weekend and Matt flies in on Thursday. Can't wait to hold my nephew again...
